Clara - Owner/Founder - the idea fountain
Hey fellow piggy parents, my name is Clara and I am a 29 year old part-time business entrepreneurship student. Our business Guinea Gadgets originated from a project I had to do for an assessment - and look at how far we have come from there! Having piggies since I was 7 years old, I have lots of experience when it comes to our little furry potatoes. This involves raising them from newborn to fully grown, caring for them when sick and ensuring general maintenance & care. I am passionate and excited about every piggy I meet and want nothing but to spoil them & give them the happy & long life that they deserve. When interacting with our social media channels or webshops you will likely be chatting to me! ^-^
Oliver - Owner/Founder - the sewing guru
Hey guys, my name is Oliver and I was being thrown into the deep end when meeting Clara and her guinea pigs. I became deeply invested in their care & wellbeing and learned a lot more about them than I ever thought possible! As a professional chef I love to share the leftover veggies with the hungry little munchkins and I am not scared of the responsibility and challenges that come along with caring for our six little fluffballs. I am the one behind the designs that you see at Guinea Gadgets. After teaching myself how to sew and getting advise from a family member I am proud to be making the products for our shop and ensuring top quality for your fluffy friends. When you purchase one of our products you can be sure that I invested a lot of love & time into their design! :)

Videl aka ‘big mama’ born 09/21
Videl was adopted by Clara in November 2021. She is best described as always hungry, laid-back and cuddly. She is the perfect Guinea Pig for giving pets - since she might try to run away at first but quickly realizes how much she hates excercise. Her favourite place is the tunnel Olly built for her. Videl is the mum of Peanut & Walnut.
Chichi aka ‘sassqueen’ born 08/21
Chichi joined us alongside with Videl in November 2021. Her character is best described as sassy, stubborn and classy. Being a true queen, Chichi doesn’t argue much with the other piggies - she just showes them who the boss is and continues her reign of the enclosure with grace. Her favourite spot is the food bowl. Her least favourite thing is when Clara comes with the nailclippers. Chichi is the boy’s mum.
Walnut aka ‘sweetpea’ born 01/22
Walnut joined the enclosure as a silent intruder in Videl’s belly. When her mum was adopted by Clara, their new human had no idea there was more to come. Walnut is a sweet soul, introverted and rather shy. She does grow fonder when given treats by Olly or Clara. Other than that Walnut loves relaxing, nibbling and sleeping in the hammock Olly built for them. Walnut is Peanut’s sister.
Peanut aka ‘explorerpig’ born 01/22
Peanut came alongside Walnut - in Videl’s belly - to her permanent home with us. She is the most curious and brave of all our girls. She loves nibbling on her human’s fingers, zooming through the enclosure and fighting with her sister Walnut over food. Her favourite thing to do is shoving her intire face into the haybag when looking for the perfect straw. She is Videl’s other daughter.
Coco & Cece, aka 'the boys' born 01/22
The two boys joined us as silent intruders also - but this time in Chichi’s belly. Being curious & kind these two guys are perfect for cuddles & pets. They are brave and love eating from Olly’s hand. Being twins and looking perfectly alike makes it hard to tell them apart - however their characters are different. Cece is outgoing & wild, whereas Coco is more gentle & sweet. They live in their own enclosure seperate to our four girls.
